2026-03-06 Grand Valley Race League Race #4 Final!!!

Brought to you by:

Come up to Powderhorn Friday afternoons and race your colleagues & friends! The Grand Valley Race League is a business-oriented event that is all about having fun in a low pressure environment.

We set up a dual slalom type course so you can race head to head but ultimately it is the fastest of the 2 runs combined who scores best. You can make as many runs as you can get in the time available so if you make a mistake or learn how to go faster you can go back and do it again! The scoring system is a modified NASTAR handicap where we take into account age, discipline (Alpine Ski, Snowboard or Telemark) & Gender so everyone is competing on a level playing field. In fact, it is very often that a more mature racer takes the top spot at our races, up there with the young bucks.

On the race dates the course is open for inspection at 12:00 Noon.

Racing runs from 1-3pm. Awards around 3:30-4:30 pm upstairs over in the Slopeside.

2026 Schedule:

Race 1: Feb. 6

Race 2: Feb 13 (Rescheduled)
Race 3: Feb. 27
Race 4: Mar. 6

Subject to change

Register Now (HERE)!

New this year we are broadcasting on FM107.1 so bring your portable FM radio & keep track of the race even from the lift!
