This will be Matthias’ 20th year with the club and 18th year as Program Director. He grew up ski racing in Stowe Vermont at the Mount Mansfield Ski Club where he learned racing with US Ski Team members Chip Knight and Eric Schlopy. He continued to race through his Sophomore year at the University of Vermont. After college Matthias moved to Boulder and began mountain bike racing. While in Boulder he met his wife Elizabeth who convinced him to move to Grand Junction. Matthias continues to mountain bike in his free time, works as the Marketing Director for Munro Companies and loves to spend time with his wife and his 2 daughters
