The Freeride/Slopestyle program offers a diverse skill set that covers all disciplines of freeriding, slopestyle, big air, and all mountain. This is an entry level program into the world of competitive freeriding, but all athletes joining should be competent all-mountain riders with at least one year of experience in Buddy Werner or equivalent.
The Freeride/Slopestyle team is an introduction to park, providing training in fundamentals and a basic understanding of the rules of the sport. All athletes will train on Sundays throughout the season. It is designed to allow the athletes to gain strong all mountain skills with an emphasis on park and jump skills.
The program spans the ages of (10 – 14 year olds), emphasizing fundamental skill development through drills, all-mountain riding, jump progressions, rail slides, grabs and spins.
The Season starts with the first day of the Winter Holiday Camp. This includes the full Winter Camp and Sundays through February (President’s Weekend OFF).
